Schooling Secretary Gillian Keegan has been pressed on whether or not she has modified her place on the standing of transgender individuals since 2020, when she acknowledged “trans ladies are ladies”.
Talking to BBC Radio 4, she stated there was a distinction between trans individuals who had undergone gender reassignment surgical procedure and people who had not.
She stated that in 2020, she “had in her head on the time” somebody who had absolutely bodily transitioned.
“Somebody that was a person, that has transitioned, that has absolutely transitioned, is know as a ladies”, she added.
