Fearing shift to Ajit Pawar's party, Congress expels Maharashtra MLA for 6 years

MUMBAI: Anticipating she is going to be a part of Ajit Pawar-led NCP, MPCC president Nana Patole on the directions of AICC basic secretary Ramesh Chennithala Saturday expelled Amravati MLA Sulbha Khodke from the celebration for six years for anti-party actions. By the way, Khodke will be a part of NCP Sunday within the presence of Ajit Pawar. She is prone to be NCP nominee from Amravati for the meeting elections.Khodke was first elected to the legislative meeting from Badnera in 2009 as a NCP nominee, however in 2009 and 2014, she was defeated. Khodke is the third Congress legislator to be expelled for anti-party actions. On Aug 30, Patole expelled Nanded MLA Jitesh Antapurkar and Bandra MLA Zishan Siddique.
Ever since Ajit joined fingers with Eknath Shinde, Khodke has reportedly been assembly NCP brass for funds for work in her constituency. It was alleged within the latest legislative council and Rajya Sabha elections, she cross voted in opposition to the Congress nominee.
