The Central authorities’s gross income from the Goods and Services Tax (GST) grew to ₹1.96 lakh crore in July, up 7.5% from the collections in July final 12 months, and 6% greater than the collections in June 2025.
Refunds underneath the system, nonetheless, surged by almost 67% to ₹27,147 crore in July 2025 as in contrast to July final 12 months. This meant that the federal government’s web GST income stood at ₹1.7 lakh crore, 1.7% greater than the online quantity collected in July 2024.
In the gross income, the gross home income stood at ₹1.43 lakh crore in July 2025 — 6.7% greater than in July 2024 — whereas the gross import income stood at ₹52,712 crore, up 9.7% from the earlier 12 months.
