Cuts have already seen the dimensions of the British Military fall from greater than 100,000 in 2010 to round 73,000 now. Gen Sanders stated that throughout the subsequent three years the British Military wanted to be 120,000 robust with the addition of reserves. However he stated even that’s not sufficient – so the Military must be designed to develop quickly “to allow the primary echelon, useful resource the second echelon, and practice and equip the citizen military that should observe”.
