Actor Govinda by accident shoots leg as revolver misfires

Actor and Shiv Sena chief Govinda by accident shot himself within the leg together with his licensed revolver round 4:45 a.m., as he was leaving dwelling to catch a morning flight.

He’s presently hospitalised at Mumbai’s CritiCare Hospital and is secure. Police are probing the incident and have seized the gun.

The actor was about to depart from his Juhu residence when the revolver misfired, a police official stated. The actor hasn’t lodged any grievance, he added.

“We had a 6 a.m. flight to catch for a present in Kolkata and I had reached the airport. Govinda ji was about to depart his residence for the airport when this accident occurred,” the actor’s supervisor stated.

“The revolver apparently fell down whereas being saved within the cabinet and misfire. It is because of god’s grace that Govinda ji sustained solely leg damage and it was nothing severe,” he stated.
