Eaton India Electrical Sector MD Syed Sajjadh Ali says the funding on this facility displays Eaton’s deal with sustainable progress in India, aligned with the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
Eaton India introduced the doubling of its electrical manufacturing facility in Puducherry, which was inaugurated by the corporate chairman and CEO Craig Arnold.
The brand new 1.20 lakh sq. ft facility features a 1 lakh sq. ft store flooring devoted to energy distribution product traces, together with 20,000 sq. ft for utilities and supporting infrastructure, the facility administration firm mentioned in a press release.
The expanded facility extends Eaton’s manufacturing footprint in Puducherry to over 2,60,000 sq. ft. With this growth, Eaton goals to double the manufacturing capability of its energy distribution meeting traces, manufacturing important merchandise comparable to Air Circuit Breakers, Molded Case Circuit Breakers and Fuses. These merchandise are important to serve key segments comparable to Knowledge Centres, Industrial, Infrastructure and huge tasks from utilities.
“The brand new facility considerably enhances our capacity to help the rising demand for localised merchandise, particularly in high-growth sectors comparable to Knowledge Centres and large-scale Industrial tasks,” Eaton India Electrical Sector MD Syed Sajjadh Ali mentioned.
